News from the Illinois Valley Youth Soccer League
Mail in registration deadline for the fall season is May 10, 2013. Absolutely no late registrations will be accepted.
Coach Disclosure/Registration Form
Registration fees for this season are $60. These fees include uniform and socks. Players will be required to wear shin guards. Cleats are recommended but optional (be sure they are soccer cleats, not baseball - no toe cleats are allowed). Players will also need to bring a ball to practice: K-2nd require a size 3 ball, 3rd-6th grades require size 4, and 7th and 8th use size 5.
We will have a certified coach from Challenger Sports with us for the first 4 weeks of the season. They will provide guidance for coaches on running effective practices.
Challenger Sports Promo Event - Saturday, April 20th
Members of Challenger Sports – British Soccer & Tetra Brazil Camps staff will be at the Illinois Valley Youth Soccer from 8.30am-12pm on Saturday April 20th
Come and find out about the Challenger Sports British & Tetra Brazil Soccer camp being hosted by the Illinois Valley Youth Soccer from July 22nd – 26th 2013. If you sign-up for camp on Saturday April 20th then you will receive:

Soccer Camps
Two options for Challenger soccer camps this summer. British Soccer Summer Camp and the more intense TetraBrazil Soccer Summer Camp. Get more information and sign up on the Challenger Website.
Season Dates
- 7th/8th grade draft - Sunday, May 19, 6pm
- Coaches Meeting - Tuesday, July 30
- 7th/8th grade teams will start practice the week of July 29
- 1st thru 6th grade teams will begin practice the week of August 5
- Kindergarten Academy will begin Saturday, August 17
- Pictures will be Saturday, August 17.
- Games will begin the week of August 19
- Games will end by Saturday, October 12.
- 7th/8th grade tournament will be Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13
